On August 28, Foton Motor held its Brand Day and New Product Launch at the Foton X Laboratory, unveiling a series of technology and product breakthroughs in intelligent driving, globalization and new energy commercial vehicles.

A major highlight was the launch of the “Cangqiong” intelligent driving architecture, built around Foton’s self-developed “5+3+1+N” full-stack technology system. Its A, B and C platforms cover high-level autonomous driving, highway and urban assisted driving, as well as closed scenarios such as ports, mines and industrial parks. The Cangqiong B system has already been installed on more than 3,000 heavy trucks, with cumulative safe operating mileage exceeding 400 million km.

In the new energy sector, Foton introduced the KAVON Xinghai flagship electric heavy truck, featuring an 800V liquid-cooled fast-charging system that can charge from 20% to 80% in just 18 minutes. Its electric version offers more than 600 km of range, while optimized aerodynamics, thermal management and electric drive technology help reduce energy consumption.

Foton also launched the Galaxus R9 in the Americas, demonstrating its latest progress in localized technology development and global commercial vehicle solutions.
