LeFu V7 Debuts as Foton Forland’s First MPVAN Model
Publication Date: 2026-09-23

Foton Forland has officially launched the Forland LeFu V7, the first model positioned under its new MPVAN category, aiming to address the growing demand for higher-quality passenger transport solutions in the new-energy commercial vehicle market.

Combining the comfort standards of an MPV with the practicality of a VAN, the all-electric LeFu V7 is designed for applications including business transportation, tourism, corporate commuting and intercity shuttle services. The model is built on Foton Forland’s dedicated Master electric platform, rather than a conventional ICE-to-EV conversion.

The LeFu V7 offers 83kWh and 100kWh battery options, with CLTC ranges of up to 446km and 536km, respectively. Its 2C fast-charging system can replenish the battery from 20% to 80% in as little as 18 minutes. The vehicle also features an integrated electric drive system with a peak efficiency of 93.5%, while combined energy consumption is rated as low as 18.2kWh/100km.

In terms of space and versatility, the model is available in 7-seat and 9-seat configurations, with multiple roof options. The 7-seat version provides an 845mm-deep luggage area capable of accommodating up to 10 standard suitcases. An electric sliding door and low step height are also designed to improve passenger accessibility.

For commercial operators, Foton Forland highlights total cost of ownership (TCO) as a key advantage. The LeFu V7 offers up to 10 years or 1 million km of warranty coverage for its three-electric system, together with intelligent fleet management functions covering vehicle status, location, driving records and maintenance reminders.

The launch marks Foton Forland’s expansion from freight-focused applications into passenger transport, while demonstrating the company’s broader strategy of combining dedicated electric platforms, diversified products and digital services.
